BlarisTrax was formed by Phil Walton as an independent record label for recording his own music. Blaris is an area just outside Lisburn, known by the locals as the ‘Burning Sands of Blaris’. Phil’s wife, Brigid, was born in Blaris. A photo of Brigid as a three year old features on the cover of Phil’s debut album, “Reason to live”

The background photograph was taken along the coast near Tynemouth, and was chosen because of a fondness for the North Sea, and also because there is a resemblance to the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland.
